The data files found on this page are the OFFICIAL versions of the Landslide, Compressible Soils, and Dike Failure Flooding Hazard Zones adopted by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors on February 26, 2002. The map images found on this page were derived from the adopted data files. They are subject to periodic revisions. Revisions were made to the County Landslide Hazard Zones following the release of the Official Seismic Hazard Zones Maps by the State of Califorina through October 18, 2006. The map images downloadable from this page were derived from the adopted and updated data files.

The Landslide, Compressible Soils, and Dike Failure Flooding Hazards Zones Maps (Combined) are in PDF format. The data files are ArcView Shapefiles contained in a zip archive. They are in standard projection for California State Plane, Zone 3, NAD 83, units U.S. Feet. After downloading, the user must unzip the archive to use the data files. The data files are intended for use by experienced GIS professionals. Therefore, NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT SHALL BE PROVIDED.
